About Survival Storehouse
Based in Erina, NSW · Since 2009
When we started Survival Storehouse in 2009, finding quality emergency supplies in Australia was harder than it should have been. Most of what existed was imported gear built for overseas conditions, generic camping equipment, or expensive kits full of things you'd never use.
We thought Australians deserved better: practical, well-designed emergency supplies built for Australian heat, distances and fast-moving emergencies. So we built them. From Erina on the NSW Central Coast we've spent more than 15 years sourcing, testing and developing products that work when it matters. Our survival biscuits carry a 20-year shelf life, and our kits are designed around real Australian scenarios: bushfires, floods, cyclones, long power outages and outback breakdowns hundreds of kilometres from help.
We're not doomsday preppers. Having a few weeks of food, water and essentials at home is just sensible, the same way you keep a spare tyre in the car. We're also honest that kit comes fourth: knowing your local hazard, deciding in advance what you'll do, and knowing your neighbours matter more. That's why we run a free wiki, free planning tools and the r/OZPreppers community alongside the shop.
We also supply businesses, councils, schools and organisations, from mining exploration crews and helicopter operators to boat clubs, with emergency kits and long shelf-life food at scale. Get in touch to talk quantities and delivery.
